An automotive icon!

Debuting in 1973 and designed by the outstanding designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, this model launched a line that has become a permanent part of European automotive culture. From 2- and 4-door sedans, through liftbacks, to practical station wagons, the Passat was a car for the family, the tourist, the worker and the dreamer.
