The B-17 Flying Fortress was a legendary American heavy bomber used during World War II. It was one of the most recognizable aircraft of the conflict. The B-17 was designed as a long-range bomber aircraft, capable of carrying large amounts of bombs over considerable distances. Its distinctive feature was the use of four engines, which gave it great power and the ability to operate at high altitudes. The Flying Fortress was extremely durable and well armored, which made it more resistant to enemy attacks. It was also known for its ability to continue flying despite significant damage.

This aircraft played a key role in the bombing campaigns over Europe and the Pacific. Claire ★★★★★

Putting together the wing section with all those intricate panel lines was surprisingly satisfying. The printed bricks for the nose art and markings save so much hassle compared to old-school stickers.

Charlotte ★★★★★

The tail gunner position is a nice touch, and the brick quality feels solid. I was surprised how sturdy the wings are once assembled. It looks fantastic on my shelf next to other WWII models.

Evelyn H. ★★★★★

The wing span on this model is impressive, and the rotating propellers add a nice interactive element. I spent a good couple of hours building it and the parts fit together perfectly.
